The two leaders reviewed the overall trajectory of relations and exchanged views on advancing cooperation in trade, investment, infrastructure, energy, technology, and tourism. Both sides highlighted the importance of building on existing agreements and frameworks to support sustainable economic growth and create opportunities for public and private sector participation. The talks were framed around practical cooperation and ongoing dialogue rather than the announcement of new initiatives.

President Mohamed bin Zayed reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to expanding partnerships with countries that share an interest in economic diversification and development. He noted the role of dialogue between leaderships in strengthening mutual understanding and supporting long-term cooperation. Prime Minister Kobakhidze emphasized Georgia’s openness to foreign investment and its efforts to enhance connectivity with regional and global markets through regulatory reforms and infrastructure development.

The meeting also addressed ways to encourage greater engagement between business communities in both countries. Officials noted that trade and investment cooperation has been a central pillar of bilateral relations, with both governments seeking to facilitate commercial exchanges and support joint ventures. The leaders discussed mechanisms to improve coordination between relevant ministries and agencies to ensure smoother implementation of bilateral projects.

Economic cooperation and investment ties in focus

Economic relations formed a central part of the discussions, with both sides acknowledging the role of trade and capital flows in strengthening bilateral ties. The UAE has positioned itself as a global investment hub, while Georgia has sought to attract international partners through policies aimed at improving the business climate. The leaders reviewed existing areas of cooperation and noted the importance of aligning economic priorities to deliver tangible outcomes.

In addition to economic matters, regional and international issues of mutual concern were discussed. The leaders exchanged views on developments affecting regional stability and emphasized the importance of diplomacy and dialogue in addressing shared challenges. Both sides reiterated support for peaceful approaches to international issues and the value of cooperation through established diplomatic channels.

Prime Minister Kobakhidze welcomed the opportunity to engage with the UAE leadership and highlighted the significance of high-level exchanges in advancing bilateral relations. He noted that continued communication between the two governments contributes to greater predictability and confidence in the relationship, which in turn supports economic and institutional cooperation.

Commitment to sustained dialogue and coordination

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the commitment by both countries to maintain regular consultations and strengthen coordination across government institutions. Officials said the discussions reflected a mutual interest in building a stable and forward-looking partnership based on shared priorities and respect for sovereignty.

The UAE and Georgia have expanded diplomatic engagement in recent years through official visits and cooperation initiatives, reflecting broader efforts to deepen ties beyond traditional partners. The latest talks between President Mohamed bin Zayed and Prime Minister Kobakhidze were described as part of this ongoing engagement, with both sides expressing confidence that continued dialogue would support the steady development of bilateral relations.
